BACKGROUND

The PASS Kijanisha Maisha Stakeholders Engagement was held under the theme “Partnership for Action on Inclusive Green Growth – Pathway to Sustainable Agriculture.” The event brought together agricultural stakeholders, media houses, and the PASS team, with Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Mr. Antony Mavunde, as Guest of honour. Its goal was to emphasize inclusive green growth as a pathway to sustainable agriculture.

APPROACH

The campaign engaged government representatives, NGOs, private sector partners, and farmers through zonal workshops across Western, Northern, Eastern, Southern, Southern Highlands and Lake Zones. Media marathons, press conferences and mass media coverage supported nationwide participation and awareness

RESULTS

  • Achieved media coverage worth TSh 1.3 billion in AVE.
  • Created nationwide awareness of the campaign.
  • Demonstrated PASS Trust’s strong commitment to supporting agriculture.
  • Promoted inclusive green growth across Tanzania’s agricultural sector
